D&W Digital Printing is a proprietary process that is unlike all other printing techniques. A specially formulated UV ink is applied to the glass using digital technology. The ink adhesion is so strong that D&W can, using a specialty silvering process, silver over the ink. This allows for a fully digitally printed mirror with the ink and the silver both on the second surface. Unlike first surface printing, the ink cannot be scratched off, damaged, or discolored due to cleaning and normal use.
